Rhododendrons and Azaleas at Leonardslee

We had arranged with Jackie to visit Leonardslee Gardens today. Unfortunately Sue went down with a cold yesterday and didn’t come, but we went anyway…
What a glorious place it is, with Rhododendrons and Azaleas and Camellias providing a cornucopia of colours.
We came across the famous wallabies, including the white ones.
Butterflies were scarce in the flower area, but we saw Orange Tips, a Red Admiral and Brimstone in the natural area.
Plus large carp in the lake and bunny rabbits unworried by visitors.
Sadly after June 30 these famous gardens will close as the property has been  sold .
We lunched at the George and Dragon, Dragons Green, highly recommended.
