Lore Prahm, Mill Hill Blues and Kithurst pheasants

Yesterday morning I heard a ship’s hooter and saw the first ship I have seen enter the River Arun. It was the Lore Prahm which has arrived from Belfast.

I then did my weekly butterfly transect at Mill Hill: 5 Adonis Blue, 2 Chalkhill Blue, 52 Meadow Brown, 1 Small Copper, 10 Small Heath.
