In Littlehampton we had 37 species of moths 10th to 13th July: Bright-line Brown-eye, Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing, Brown-tail, Buff-tip, Common Footman, Common Wainscot, Dagger species, Dark Arches, Elder Pearl, Elephant Hawk-moth, Garden Grass-veneer, Heart and Dart, Iron Prominent, Jersey Tiger, Knot Grass, Langmaid's Yellow Underwing, Large Yellow Underwing, Least Carpet, Least Yellow Underwing, Lesser Common Rustic, Lesser Swallow Prominent, Long-legged Tabby, Marbled Green, Meal Moth, Mother of Pearl, Orange Pine Twist, Peppered Moth, Pine Hawk-moth, Riband Wave, Idaea aversata ab remutata, Rosy Tabby, Scarce Footman, Small Dusty Wave, Swallow-tailed Moth, The Uncertain, Twenty-plume Moth, White Satin. Also a very small new caddisfly with incredibly long antennae - Leptocerus tineiformis.
