Heyshott and Arundel Water Rail

Water Rail, Rallus aquaticus

On February 24th I attended our weekly work party at Heyshott escarpment and afterwards found fungi, flowers and invertebrates. 
  Today we enjoyed a walk and lunch at Arundel WWT and came across an obliging Water Rail by the boating area.
