Chanctonbury Ring fungi

On Sunday I visited Chanctonbury Ring following reports of a Great Grey Shrike. Unfortunately it was too windy for the bird to listen for worms in the leaf litter, a behaviour which Neil had reported a couple of days earlier. The views made the tough climb worthwhile. I found clumps of a fungi which has been difficult to identify.
