Water Rails and Kingfishers

Grey Heron, Ardea cinerea
On Saturday I visited Rewell Wood, Houghton Forest and finally Arundel WWT where Water Rails showed well. On Sunday the lakes at Arundel WWT were ice covered at 10am with a few clear areas. A Kingfisher landed on the post in front of the Scrape Hide for a few seconds. I caught it on video, and it tweeted before it landed and after it flew off.
