Small Coppers at Cissbury

Small Copper, Lycaena phlaeas (ab. caeruleopunctata) on Fleabane
Yesterday I did my Mill Hill transect, much the same as last week except a few less butterflies. We did our walk to the pier in the evening. This morning I visited Cissbury Ring and saw a Red Admiral, Meadow Browns, Small Heaths, Small Coppers and Common Grass-veneer moths. I met Mike S, a local naturalist.
