Owler Tor, Burbage Brook and Grey Wagtails

rock on Owler Tor
On September 10th I did my walk on the Longshaw Estate, which takes in Owler Tor and the wooded valley along Burbage Brook. I try to do this walk every time we stay in Sheffield. It never fails to invigorate me with the views, the heather moorland, the millstone grit formations and the atmospheric wooded valley with the babbling Burbage Brook. A pair of Grey Wagtails hopped around the rocks in the brook.
