On Saturday morning Bea and Jackie joined us on a trip to the
Murray Downland Trust fund raising event held in Philip Jackson’s garden. We
left in pouring rain and arrived with a blue sky. Philip Jackson gave us a
guided tour of the garden and it was fascinating hearing the story behind each
work. They are not bronzes, but the fibreglass or plaster precursors
of the final works. We love these sculptures, mostly inspired by his trip to Venice years ago.
I missed this one, but Bea captured it |
