Bloody-nosed Beetle larva, Timarcha species |
On Friday morning I met Mark Colvin at Chantry Hill. We saw
just one Common Blue and a Small Heath. There were plenty of Red-fringed Conches, a micro
moth. Mark spotted a Bloody-nosed Beetle larva, an amazing looking creature.
