Bloody-nosed Beetle larva and Red-fringed Conch

Bloody-nosed Beetle larva, Timarcha species
On Friday morning I met Mark Colvin at Chantry Hill. We saw just one Common Blue and a Small Heath. There were plenty of Red-fringed Conches, a micro moth. Mark spotted a Bloody-nosed Beetle larva, an amazing looking creature.
