Great Grey Shrike at Waltham Brooks

Great Grey Shrike, Lanius excubitor
On Thursday I joined the many birders who gathered at Waltham Brooks to see one of the two Great Grey Shrikes that have been seen for some days here. Afterwards I called in at Arundel WWT where I saw a Kingfisher from the visitor centre  and a Water Rail outside the Reed Bed hide. A leucistic Canada Goose was partnered by a normal goose in front of the Sand Martin hide. Its white head was very attractive.
