Great Crested Grebe loses its fish

Great Crested Grebe, Podiceps cristatus
On Sunday I attended I metal detecting club dig on pasture but nothing of great interest found. I had a Jew’s harp, a button and a buckle. Afterwards I visited Warnham Nature Reserve and enjoyed some views of a pair of Kingfishers faraway. My highlight was a Great Crested Grebe which caught a fish, but didn’t seem to know what to do with it and had it stolen by an opportunist gull.
