Turnstones and Oystercatchers

The sun was out at low tide so I tried to get some Turnstone feeding shots. I was surprised to meet Gill and Keith who were having fun metal detecting.

Grey Plover, Pluvialis squatarola
There were three Grey Plovers. A few years ago I saw a family of these being raised on the shingle beach nearby.
