Pearl-bordered Fritillary, Boloria euphrosyne,
flash used Canon G9 compact |
On Sunday morning I visited a local butterfly site and was
joined by Paul. I had seen several Orange-tips and a White of some sort before
he arrived. Paul then discovered a mating pair of OTs which obligingly posed for
some time.
In the afternoon I attended Neil’s BC walk at Rewell Wood. Two
Pearl-bordered Fritillaries were photographed by the 43 attendees. I was
pleased to have found a PBF and a Green Tiger Beetle that also
attracted some attention.
