Dukes, Dingies and Small Heaths

Duke of Burgundy, Hamearis lucina
I arrived at Heyshott at noon hoping for a good count of Dukes of Burgundy butterflies having left the coast with a much blue sky. However there was plenty of cloud cover inland and the temperature was low. I saw just 3 Dukes, 3 Small Heaths, 3 Dingy Skippers and one Orange Tip on the path up.
