Arundel Castle gardens - it's all about the tulips

Yesterday we visited Arundel Castle gardens for the first time with Sue's sister Penny. Good weather made for a very enjoyable walk through the interesting variety of gardens. The tulip displays were the highlight. We had a good meal in the cafe and explored some interesting buildings before walking back along the rife by Mill Lane. We had seen a Water Vole swimming on the way to the castle and a Moorhen sitting on 5 eggs. On the way back we  watched three ducklings exploring the bank, and an Alderfly landed on the grass.
