Dartford Warbler and Goldcrests

Dartford Warbler, Sylvia undata
Yesterday morning I met Mark Colvin at Iping Common to search for the Great Grey Shrike. We had several sightings of the bird, but it was fairly elusive. A flock of Goldcrests fed among the Gorse and Mark spotted a Dartford Warbler, a first for me. I saw a Green Woodpecker and flocks of Long-tailed Tits and Redwings in the woodland by the car park. Stonechats were also seen.
