I visited Southwater Woods yesterday morning and found Silver-washed Fritillaries, White Admirals, Commas, Meadow Browns and Large Skippers. The weather was fine with plenty of sunny spells.

  1. Hi Colin, great shots as always. I've never been to Southwater before, where is the best spot for the White Admirals? Do you know the grid reference? Any specific time of day better too? Thanks
