Red Admiral at Southwater Woods

Red Admiral
Following a dig in the morning, I returned to Southwater Woods. I met Dan and Richard, fellow BC members and photographers, then found a pristine Red Admiral. This was followed by a female Silver-washed Fritillary but being camera shy it didn’t hang around. I also found a SWF mud-puddling - plenty of puddles after the recent rain. During a walk around the wood I observed a deer feeding.
