Red sky and rosy farthing

A red sunrise this morning lead to a cold start to the day so we were all wrapped up in our winter gear at the start of the club dig near Worthing. It turned into a mostly warm, beautiful Autumn day. Some finds were Dave's Rose Farthing of  Charles I (1625-1649),and strap end, some cut quarter and half hammered coins, a couple of poor Roman and a nice buckle. I found  four buttons, half a buckle, one mother of pearl cuff link and a cut Georgian halfpenny. I saw one butterfly, a Red Admiral.
