Flights of fancy at Hope Gap

I was up early and noticed a wonderful sunrise developing.
Although it was a cloudy day I hoped for some warmth and more Clouded Yellows so decided that Hope Gap would be an interesting destination. Alas a brisk south westerly brought increasingly dark clouds. Plenty of Small Whites were nectaring on Wild Basil so I concentrated on shots of the butterfly in flight again. Afterwards I visited Bea in Eastbourne for a cup of tea.
