Silver-studded Blues at Iping & Stedham Commons

Yesterday (June 8) I went to Iping and Stedham Commons to see the Silver-studded Blues. I saw 3 at Stedham Common but lots more by the main path on Iping Common. I also met fellow enthusiasts John and Kirsty there. A Clouded Buff moth gave me a good sighting after a chase. Other moths: Common Heaths, a Common Sweep larval case (like caddisfly larva use), a Black-speckled Groundling, a Silver Y, Netted Argents and Gold-ribbon Argents by their foodplant, the silver birches, near the car park.
