Ringed Plover chicks and a Yellow Sally

Ringed Plover, Charadrius hiaticula
On Wednesday we drove to a local beach where I found Ringed Plovers with two chicks. On Friday I visited an area near Chichester where Neil had found a European Swallowtail the previous day. I didn’t see a Swallowtail, but did find Common Blues, Small Tortoiseshell, Red Admiral, Brown Argus, Orange-tips and Speckled Woods. Also a Yellow Sally stonefly, mating Dock Bugs, Long-stalked Crane’s Bill, Spotted Medick and a Yellow Shell moth.
