Pearls, cuckoo and milkwort

Pearl-bordered Fritillary, Boloria euphrosyne on bugle
On Wednesday I visited Rewell Wood and found 17 Pearl-bordered Fritillaries. Some of them were nectaring on Bugle. I saw a Cuckoo Flower (Lady’s Smock) and my first Heath Milkwort. After checking the four British milkworts I decided that Heath Milkwort is the most likely id. I will look for it again to obtain further diagnostic information and photos.
