Clouded Yellow and Long-tailed Blue

Clouded Yellow, Colias croceus, aberrant form

Yesterday I returned to Southwick. Five species were still showing here: Clouded Yellow, Common Blue, Small Copper, Small White and a brief sighting of a Long-tailed Blue. This aberrant form of the Clouded Yellow had a beautiful upperside which I managed to capture with high speed photography.
