Fly agaric, Long-tailed Blue and Angle Shades

Fly agaric, one of many Autumn fungi
Last Tuesday I visited Beeding again, but instead of a Long-tailed Blue Phil found a Knot Grass moth larva on his jeans. I then called at Woods Mill Wildlife Trust and saw plenty of fungi, including the splendid Fly agaric, during a woodland walk.

On Friday I visited Southwick again and found two photographers with a Long-tailed Blue. Due to the dull conditions it stayed hunkered down in the privet. An Angle Shades moth landed nearby.
