Bluebells and Stitchwort in harmony

-->

We took Jackie on a bluebell walk this afternoon as the sky was blue, but accompanied by a cold wind. Angmering Woods gave us an immediate shot of blue.
We just had to walk round that area of woodland to experience a  unique blend of  Bluebells, yellow Buttercups and white Greater stichwort forming magical carpets of colour. A few clusters of Wood anemones were also seen.

Peacocks, Small Whites provided some macro opportunities but the Orange Tips only rested momentarily deep inside the carpet of bluebells. A pleasant scent sometimes wafted across the woodland.

We stopped off at the garden centre and bought some yellow and purple pansies to accompany the musk (mimulus) that are thriving on the balcony since I planted them a couple of weeks ago.
