Glaucous Gull in Littlehampton

Glaucous Gull, Larus hyperboreus

On Tuesday morning in poor light I found three Ringed Plovers on the beach, plus Sanderlings, Turnstones and Oystercatchers. In the afternoon the sun and blue sky appeared so I headed to the mouth of the Arun where I found Neil and Mavis photographing the Glaucous Gull. Neil’s bread bait brought it close and I was pleased with the resulting images.
