This morning I received a new lens, a Nikkor AF-S 300mm
f/4D IF-ED and a 1.4 teleconverter. I couldn’t wait to try it out on real
subjects so I headed for Arundel WWT. As a blizzard was blowing I was the only
visitor in the grounds. I found refuge in the Wood Lodge hide and shot some
images in poor light. I can already see the quality of the lens, and look
forward to some good light (next month?) to really put it to the test.
