Duke of Burgundy, Hamearis lucina |
Yesterday was a wonderful dry and sunny day, perfect for our second work party at Heyshott escarpment where Sussex Butterfly Conservation members are working with Murray Downland Trust members again this winter. The objective is to create more habitat for the endangered Duke of Burgundy butterfly. Volunteers welcome - we meet on Wednesday mornings.
