Small Blues at Kithurst

Yesterday afternoon I visited Kithurst Hill for an hour for the Small Blues. The orchids are showing well, and I noticed the lovely little blue Common Milkwort for the first time. Plus a Small Heath and a Yellow Shell moth.

  1. Hi Colin, thanks for tip. I went today and found meadow (on third attempt!); lots of Small Blues. Are the DoB still about? Think I saw that Grasshopper too, quite small? No idea what it is though!

  3. I haven't seen a Duke there for some time. The grasshopper was 1cm.
