Thorney Island hike

Peacock
The skies were overcast this morning when Mark phoned to propose a visit to Thorney Island where Clouded Yellows had been reported recently. We completed a 6/7 mile walk and saw plenty of Speckled Woods, 6 Red Admirals and a Peacock. At the end a couple of bird watchers pointed out a Cattle Egret in the distance.
