Great Crested Grebe and nesting Great Tit

Great Crested Grebe, Podiceps cristatus
Today we headed to Arundel WWT for lunch followed by a wander round the reserve. On the reed bed walk we watched a Great Tit bring moss into one of the nest boxes. We were fortunate to be in the Sand Martin hide when a Great Crested Grebe performed several dives right in front of us. Apparently it had been on the Arun Riverlife water in front of the viewing window during the past few days.
Black-backed Radjah Shelduck, Tadorna radjah
Cuckoo Flower, Cardamine pratensis
This cuckoo flower was the first I have seen in the reserve - it was by the reed bed walkway.
