Rowland Wood work party

Today was the last work party at Rowland Wood for this winter. There was a good turnout in spite of drizzle in West Sussex when I left. East Suusex had none, and the temperature was perfect for working.  By general acclamation Michael provided his best baked potatoes of the year, delicious with butter and his Jamie Oliver Pepper, Chilli & Ginger Salt Grinder! Lots of pine and other wood was burnt and plenty of new territory for the Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary was created. I got back home in time to see England hold onto a slender lead in the Calcutta Cup match - good tries by both sides.
