The Wye Valley and a walk by the Derwent

Pen joined us for the trip back from Buxton to Sheffield and we paused en route in the Wye Valley for some photos:
A newly fledged thrush managed to avoid the cats when it appeared on the patio.
As it was a fine afternoon so we visited the bridge over the River Derwent at Froggatt and enjoyed a lovely walk along both sides of the bridge. We passed a scary multiple car accident a hundred yards short of the bridge with three paramedic vehicles present.
This fisherman's son went home with a two pound trout.
