On Sunday afternoon I visited Widewater Lagoon and was
delighted when the resident Kestrel hovered above me while the sky was still
blue. It then perched in a nearby bush allowing for close-up shots. A pair of
Little Grebes caught fish and Pied Wagtails picked up food from the car park. I
then spent some time with the Turnstones on the beach.
